1. Migration & Tokens

Q: What’s happening with the FILM token?
A: The FILM token is being upgraded and reissued as TALNT on the Base network, at a 1:1 ratio. All token balances, both internal and external, will be preserved during migration.

Q: Will I lose any of my tokens or reputation?
A: No. All FILM credits, reputation, and tokens are being securely migrated. Nothing is lost in the process.

Q: What’s the difference between FILM and TALNT?
A: TALNT is the new ERC-20 version of FILM, issued on Base with enhanced precision (18 decimals instead of 6). It serves the same purpose, now with greater ecosystem compatibility.

Q: Is TALNT a new project or brand?
A: No — TALNT is the natural evolution of DCP’s FILM token, now on a more robust infrastructure with broader utility and scalability.

2. User Login Types

Q: How do I know if I’m a social login user or an external wallet user?
A: If you sign in with Google, X, or Apple, you're a social login user. If you use MetaMask, Ledger, Sentinel, or other wallet software, you’re an external wallet user.

Q: Do I need to install MetaMask or another wallet?
A: Social login users don’t need to install any wallets — the system manages that for you. External wallet users will connect both their Tezos and EVM-supported wallets during migration. If you've been using DCP with external wallets, you likely already have the Sentinel - T4L3NT Wallet or another compatible wallet set up.

Q: Can I switch login methods after migration?
A: At this time, continue with your original login method.

3. Claiming & Technical Process

Q: When can I claim my assets?
A: After June 17, 2025, once the system migration is complete. You’ll receive a notification when it’s time to log in and begin claiming.

Q: What do I need to do to claim?
A: Just log in. The platform guides you through the process with a step-by-step claim dialogue. No extra steps are needed for most users.

Q: How long does the process take?
A: Usually between 2–5 minutes, depending on network speed and wallet type.

Q: What if something goes wrong during claiming?
A: The system has automatic retries and clear indicators. If needed, you can restart the process by loging out and back in, or contact support.

4. Gas Fees & Costs

Will I need to pay gas fees?
A: No, there are no gas fees, whether you’re using social login or an external wallet.. 

Will I ever need to manage gas on TALNT Net?
A: All gas fees for transactions within DCP application are covered by DCP.  You’ll only pay gas if you bridge or transfer tokens outside the app.

5. Project Continuity & Platform Access

Q: What happens to my ongoing projects and voting?
A: All project data, voting history, and contributions are preserved. Your creative work continues seamlessly on the new system.

Q: Will anything change about how I use the DCP app?
A: No — the interface will remain familiar, but faster and more responsive thanks to the Base integration.

Q: Can new users join after the migration?
A: Absolutely. The new Base-powered system is even more beginner-friendly.

Q: What is TALNT Net?
A: TALNT Net is an application-specific blockchain built using Base AppChain architecture. It supports the DCP platform with better speed, security, and customization.

Q: Is this platform decentralized?
A: Yes, with enhanced transparency. TALNT Net uses verifiable compute via AWS Nitro Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), and settles to Base mainnet, ensuring both speed and trust. This offers trust and transparency in how films are voted on and funded without forcing creators and artists to deal with overly technical blockchain tools.
